An exclusive recipe, with a long fermentation, 72-hour mother yeast, artisan flour, purely Italian ingredients, perfumed with vanilla and orange.
“It’s a sweet project dedicated to New York,” Chef Andrea Zanin explains.
“I’ve dreamt for some time of creating an homage to a city like New York, which through these years has, first of all, inspired me and has also given me great professional satisfaction.
I’m very happy because today this dream has become a reality.”
Chef Iginio Massari, considered the greatest pastry chef in the world, close friend and teacher of Andrea Zanin, sent a video message for the occasion, a testimony to the great friendship between the two Italian chefs.
Massari stressed the importance of quality in modern pastry-making and how Andrea has been able to export this quality to the United States.
Andrea Zanin’s passion for the art of pastry-making and cuisine is rooted in his Padre Pietro’s bakery, founded in the ’50s.
